Our Curriculum

Berean Baptist Academy provides a Christ-centered education using the Abeka curriculum. Our academic program is designed to build strong skills in reading, language, mathematics, history, science, and Bible while encouraging Christian character, responsibility, and a love for learning.

Grade Levels & Academic Program

Elementary — Kindergarten through 5th Grade

Strong foundations in Bible, reading, phonics, language, writing, spelling, arithmetic, history, and science.

Middle School — 6th through 8th Grade

Continued academic growth with increased independence, responsibility, and a strong biblical worldview.

High School — 9th through 12th Grade

College- and career-preparatory academics with an emphasis on Christian character, responsibility, and preparation for life beyond graduation.

Biblical Foundation

Bible is an important part of every school day at Berean Baptist Academy. Students are taught from the King James Bible and are encouraged to grow in their knowledge of Scripture, Christian character, personal responsibility, and service to others.

Chapel & Spiritual Life

Students at Berean Baptist Academy participate in weekly chapel services designed to strengthen their faith and encourage spiritual growth. Chapel includes Bible preaching and teaching, prayer, Scripture, and Christian fellowship. Elementary students and middle/high school students meet separately so the teaching can be appropriate for their age group.

Academic Expectations

We encourage every student to work diligently, complete assignments faithfully, participate in class, and strive for academic excellence. Students are expected to demonstrate honesty, responsibility, respect, and Christian character in both their academic work and daily conduct.

Our School Day

Berean Baptist Academy provides a structured school day focused on academics, biblical instruction, and Christian character.

Students attend school from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Our daily academic program includes :

Bible, Arithmetic, Reading, Language, Writing, Spelling, History, and Science.

Students also have scheduled breaks, lunch, independent work time, and opportunities for review and extra help.

Lunch is from 12:00–12:30 p.m.

Weekly chapel is held on Wednesdays, with age-appropriate services for elementary and middle/high school students.

Assessment & Academic Progress

Student progress is monitored throughout the school year through daily assignments, quizzes, tests, projects, and teacher observation. Progress reports and report cards help families stay informed about each student’s academic growth and areas that may need additional attentio

Berean Baptist Academy believes that parents and teachers working together helps students succeed. We encourage open communication between families and teachers and welcome parents to contact the school whenever they have questions about their child’s academic progress.

Berean Baptist Academy is committed to providing a Christ-centered education while maintaining our 170-day instructional calendar. Our school calendar provides important information about instructional days, school hours, holidays, and scheduled breaks for the 2026–2027 academic year.

School Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM

Important Calendar Updates:

  • October 20, 2026 — No School: Teacher Training

  • November 3, 2026 — No School: 13th Annual Berean Fall Bible Conference

  • November 16, 2026 — Added Instructional Day

  • January 4, 2027 — Added Instructional Day
